Who we are

With more than 30 years of experience and knowledge from across the country, Metis consultants bring an unwavering commitment to evidence-based literacy instruction and are dedicated to improving results for students. From leadership, instructional practice in the classroom, or understanding a full comprehensive assessment system, we deliver high-level professional development for districts, schools and classroom educators. Our entire team is Enhanced Core Reading Instruction (ECRI) certified and able to provide Initial Training, Onsite Coaching and Leadership Training. Many of our team are DIBELS 8 certified as well as LETRS trained. Our consultants are positive, collaborative, confident, team-oriented, data driven and are invested in the success of your students.

How we work

Metis is dedicated to increasing overall student achievement within the K-12 education system and provides the tools and strategies needed to achieve goals within each specific community. From the district level to the classroom, we have a track record of success in assisting clients make improvements across the system. We understand state specific contexts and design professional development needed to help clients meet and exceed state and national education standards. We model and support schools in understanding and communicating student achievement targets and evaluate school processes to ensure teachers understand that targets align with teaching and assessment practices.
